Criticism of not paying Zakat in the light of Hadiths
Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu ‘anhu narrates that Rasilullah Sallallahu’ alaihi wasallam said: Whomever Allah gives wealth and he does not pay his Zakat, on the Day of Resurrection that wealth will be given to him in the form of a bald serpent with two stripes on its head.
The snake will be put in his throat. Then he will take hold of it and say, I am your treasure, I am your treasure. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited this verse.
Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu ‘anhu narrates that Rasilullah Sallallahu’ alaihi wasallam said: He whose wealth has not been paid, on the Day of Resurrection he will be a bald serpent. He even puts his fingers in her mouth.
Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu ‘anhu narrates that Rasilullah Sallallahu’ alaihi wasallam said: He who owns gold and silver and does not pay its due, will have the pillars of fire made for him on the Day of Resurrection. The fire of hell will be kindled on the wool, and its crust and forehead and back will be scorched by them, when they cool down. And then it will be done. This is the day that is fifty thousand years old. Until the judgment is made between the servants, now he will see his way. Either to heaven or to hell.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Those who don’t pay zakah for their animals will face a harsh judgment. They will be hanged in a muddy field. Shepherds will beat them with their horns and trample them with their hooves. Their wealth will turn into a bald serpent on Judgment Day.”
Hadrat ‘Siddiq’ Akbar radiyallahu ‘anhu said: “By Allah, if they withhold even a goat’s lamb from me, I will fight them. This is for their sacrifice.” (Correct)
Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu ‘anhu narrates that Rasulullah Sallallahu’ alaihi wasallam said: “The first three people in Hellfire will be: (1) the miserly, (2) the arrogant beggar, and (3) the rich who doesn’t give zakah.”
